Geneo Super Facial

The Geneo Super Facial uses one handpiece to do three things in a single treatment. A textured capsule gently buffs away dead skin cells, serums from the capsule are worked into your skin, and a gel is applied that the manufacturer says draws fresh blood flow to the surface.

Each kit has its own capsule and serums, chosen for your skin. Hydrate, Illuminate, Revive, Detox, Balance and Glam are the manufacturer's kits. We'll explain what our Geneo Glow facial includes at your consultation.

Geneo X adds radiofrequency, which gently warms the deeper layers of the skin, on the face, neck or décolleté. You can also combine a Geneo facial with dermaplaning, LED light therapy, microneedling, or thulium or CO2 laser in the same visit.

The evidence is limited. The one published study was small: 10 people had 6 weekly treatments, and most said their skin felt softer afterwards. So we describe it simply as a facial that can leave your skin looking fresher and more radiant.

   We talk through what you'd like to change, ask about your health and the skincare you use, and choose the kit that suits your skin.

   Step 2: Preparing your skin

   Your skin is cleansed and prepared.

   Step 3: The treatment

   The handpiece is moved over your face, and your neck or décolleté if you've chosen them, to exfoliate and infuse the serums. Then the refreshing gel is applied and removed.

   Step 4: Straight afterwards

   Your skin may look slightly pink for a short time. You'll get aftercare advice for your treatment.

Common and expected

Brief pinkness or warmth after treatment, settling quickly.

Less common

Irritation or a reaction to a serum. Please tell us about any allergies or sensitive skin before your treatment.

Your skin tone

At your consultation we'll ask about your skin's history, including any dark or light patches after past treatments, and take it into account in your plan.
